How do I top up with my phone?

Use online banking or a mobile banking app to make bank to bank transfers. The amount must be in whole pounds and you MUST include your 8 digit SMARTprepay® account number in the reference field. Use the bank account details below to transfer funds to us:

Please note that payments made using your bank account will top up your meter the following day, not immediately.

Normally a message will be sent immediately to your meter topping it up automatically – you don’t have to do anything.
However, just in case the message is delayed, you can top your meter up immediately by entering the 20 character Unique Transaction Reference Number using your In Home Display or the keypad on the meter.
